Meare Manor

Perfect Location, friendly, nothing was too much trouble, large comfortable room, spotlessly clean and breakfast was amazing. Large enclosed garden for our dog to safely run around.

Very relaxed place, quiet, perfect for taking a recovery break. The hosts are lovely, and cook an absolutely delicious breakfast which set me up well for each day.

Location is a bit out the way - no shops or restaurants (but that's exactly why I chose it, so I see that as a positive!)

Excellent choice at breakfast and accommodated an early start for us. So convenient for surrounding wildlife reserves. Such a characterful place and friendly family team.

It was a delightful old property. The room was really lovely. Very large and 2 armchairs and a lovely bathroom. Obviously had been renovated in the last few years. And the breakfast was beautifully cooked

Where we were in the building not suitable if one has trouble with stairs. The lift was out of order.

Loved the location being in Meare, it was quieter than Glastonbury.

Sue and Graham (the owners) were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was exceptional, with everything cooked to order so you could choose whatever you wanted - and there was no rush to leave the dining room!

The water pressure was poor - not the hotel's fault and we couldn't get the air conditioning to work (probably our ineptitude)

Delicious breakfast, hospitable staff, lovely 1 mile walk to local pub also with delicious food.
