All on one level in beautiful surroundings. Easy access especially with my retriever. Excellent service.

Absolutely nothing not to like!

The setting is amazing and so are the views. The receptionist was charming.

Lack of adequate sound proofing between rooms. I was kept awake by the TV in the next room until very late and then woken by a dog barking in the same room.

Food was excellent

Room a little small.

The TV ddn't work and the hotel said there was nothing they could do about it as the signal.kept dropping out. The walls were thin and you could hear other guests.

I’m sorry to say I hadn’t expected the food offering on the restaurant to be a set menu for £60. I had driven all day, but didn’t want a 3/4 course dinner. When I asked about just having a single course I was told that I could but it would cost £30, very pricey but I had no choice as I was too tired to drive anywhere else. I was told that “no guest would go hungry” but there was no other suggestion other than 1 dish for £30. I was also totally ignored at my table, I noticed that staff chatted happily to ALL the other guests in the restaurant. This made me feel very embarrassed. I just ate and went to my room. The food was ok, not hot, which I would have mentioned if someone had asked. It was a very small portion for £30. I will add that the breakfast was excellent. So just advise guests to make sure they check the menu before booking the restaurant to avoid this unnecessary situation.
