Old Pines Hotel And Restaurant

The hotel is very comfortable, very nicely furnished, very clean. The food was excellent.

When we arrived, the family room we booked had been given to another family and we were given the option to look for alternate accommodation elsewhere in the area. After discussion, the other couple were asked to move back to their double and we were given our family room and an evening meal FOC. The situation could have been handled better in the first instance.

Cleanliness

We checked in and went out for a night on the town. Cut short because they needed to change our room to accommodate SOMEONE else. No compensation. We were quite inconvenienced by the hotel’s error. They offered to move our items which is not something I want strangers packing up my belongings, prescriptions, gifts, etc. We were not happy with our stay.

My stay at the Old Pine Hotel was nothing short of magical, and the highlight was undoubtedly the breakfast experience coupled with the breath-taking scenery. Waking up to the serene sound of nature and stepping into the cozy breakfast area felt like a dream. The breakfast spread was delightful, with a variety of fruits, coffee, and fresh juice. What truly set the experience apart, however, was the view. The dining area offers panoramic vistas of lush pine forests and misty mountains, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating ambiance. Sipping my morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the hills was an unforgettable moment. The staff were warm and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the place. If you're looking for a serene getaway with fantastic food and views that will leave you in awe, the Old Pine Hotel is the perfect destination. Highly recommended!

Nice location , lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable rooms, food excellent quality.

Very pricey for everything over the inclusive b&b rate. Dinner was excellent, but no choice other than a fixed 5 course menu for £60 per person. Food was excellent with quality and presentation on par with many top class restaurants but very small portions with quality over quantity, don't come here hungry, and at over £200 for two adults for dinner alone including one aperitif each, one bottle of mediocre wine and a coffee and liquor each after dinner was extremely expensive for an establishment of this type in this location.

Everything! Every view from every window was charming, the hospitality was exceptional and the animals were so cute.

The fact I didn’t have enough time! I need to go back for more time!
