Qingdao Parkview Holiday Hotel

It is very near the airport with airport shuttle. The staff have good customer service but we have difficulty in their communication skills in English. The room is clean except for a stained toilet bowl which we found to be annoying. They have a wide and good selections for breakfast. They have a nice business center to conduct meetings.

Love this hotel. One of the best overall staff cultures I've seen in hotels. Very convenient to the airport, not so much for downtown.

Great hotel- one of the best. The hotel is very modern, clean, comfortable. The staff always smile. I have rarely seen such a service orientated hotel. I asked for extra bottled water one day. It was with me in a minute and from then on they always made sure i had stock of 4 bottles. This is thirdvisitand i stay nowhere else in Qingdao area

Staff are very friendly and quick, and restaurant offers large variaty of food with smiling chef. Close to airport - easy to come back and forth. Swimming pool is good, even though it is outside the hotel.

Just like Qingdao itself, this hotel is lovely. Great staff, willing to do what's required to make the stay comfortable. Good business centre, excellent check-in. Room was very nice - comfortable, very clean, up-to-date. Highly recommended for those working in the regions close to the hotel (which I was).

Hotel location very near airport, but nothing much to shop in the vicinity. Hotel restaurant staffs provided very good services during dinner, but services during breakfast was rather slow. Front office staffs were attentive and friendly, housekeeping staffs were polite and helpful. Overall it was a good experience at this hotel

Good option if you want to be very close to the airport / with all the stands of a Hiliday Inn / nothing to eat or do around. Is extremely far away from downtown 40 min to 1 hour. So if you do not need to be at the airport choose another hotel at downtown

Overall my experience was okay. The service was, for the most part, friendly and professional. There just wasn't anything "great" about my stay. (There was one waitress who went out of her way to always smile and say hello, that was nice.) The food in the restaurant was fairly bland and uneventful. I felt like the menu was limited. I ordered room service one night and the amount billed for the meal was higher than the price on the menu (there was also a surcharge on top of that). Not enough to really fuss over, but still... There's also very little to see in the neighborhood. I generally go for walks and step into small stores when in China - I stepped out one afternoon, but there just wasn't anything to see, nothing of interest. I've stayed in better hotels in China/Qingdao for only a little more money. Unfortunately they are not conveniently located for where I need to be in Qingdao. I'll wind up staying here again when I go back, but only because I have to and not because I want to. It's an okay place to stay, but not a destination.
