The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit

Perfect downtown location with incredible staff and walking distance from so many great places. Hotel was lovely and clean, and every staff member wonderful. Things to know: Check in on the second floor. Elevators are tap a room key, a bit sensitive and sometimes had to tap multiple times. Wish the room had more hooks in both the bathroom and room. It was such a spacious room it seems like a missed opportunity.

Housekeeping was very disappointing during our stay. The room was barely cleaned. Aside from changing the towels and making the bed, no real cleaning was done. I was especially surprised that during all three nights, the bedsheets remained extremely wrinkled. This was my first time staying at a Westin, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations. The front desk staff wasn't particularly friendly either. They mistakenly checked us out after our second night, which locked us out of our room. It took 40 minutes to resolve the issue and regain access. To make matters worse, I later noticed a credit card charge for an early departure which we never made. We stayed for our full reservation. Trying to get a refund has been very frustrating and time consuming, with long hold times on the phone. Overall, the experience was quite inconvenient and left a lot to be desired.

Quiet, clean, most staff were very good Second floor breakfast restaurant staff was horrible. We waited to be seated for 15 minutes, with plenty of tables available, while 3 servers went by making eye contact but saying nothing. We ended up going to a restaurant down the street

Everything was great, room had nice finishes. Pool and fitness center were clean and in good shape. Staff was helpful

The staff was amazing. Front desk, bar staff, door greeter. All friendly and outstanding. Nice fitness center with a large selection of equipment. The concierge lounge had many options. the staff was excellent. Starbucks is also conveniently located in the lobby. Great location, there is a beautiful church next door and the hotel is a short walk to the river.

I booked for my parents they loved it. They haven’t been there in like 10 years and they said it was way improved and we’re happy with their rooms. They kept talking about how big the bathroom was.
