Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club

We booked at the Pine Needles Lodge, but upon arrival they bumped us to their sister hotel across the street (Mid Pines) for no apparent reason. Mid Pines is run down and in need of a lot of TLC. We do not recommend staying there.

Wonderful and peaceful. Room was spacious with large walk in shower and double vanity bathroom.

I left a pair of flip flops in the room and they called me the next day to see if I would like them shipped back. The staff was very friendly!

Older cabins but clean

I love PN but it is showing it’s age. If you can accept a quaint, rustic experience with creaking floors, tiny bathrooms and hearing everything from neighboring rooms, its for you. The convenience, food, golf and southern hospitality are top shelf.

The lodge is showing it's age in some ways, but it's a great setting and a historic golf location!

Cute. Front desk person was the only person I interacted with, super nice. Room is clean and very bed & breakfast-y looking. Definitely not a traditional hotel. Interesting set up, with different units. Close to down town Southern Pines and the SP Greenway (starting at Reservoir Lake). Stayed here before heading down to Laurinburg.
