St. Georges House

The location is excellent. We were just a short walk from the old village, a lovely beach, Shanklin Chine, quaint shops, several restaurants and nice pubs. Bus and train routes are close by. The hosts were very attentive, friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the breakfast - there were lots of options, it was high quality and excellent value for money. The breakfast room itself is a great setting - nice and bright, with some easy listening music to start the day. Our room was clean and comfortable, with lots of nice touches such as fresh flowers, biscuits and little chocolates. There is a communal area with a bar. Thank you so much Mark and Pearly, for making our stay so comfortable!

Where can I start this was the best bed and breakfast establishment I have ever stayed in mark was absolutely fantastic as a host also his sister was absolutely first class the breakfast was amazing every morning a different choice of beautiful cooked food fresh cake when we arrived with lovely tea in beautiful cups there attention to detail is fantastic new towels every day a choice of soft or hard pillows everything smelt fresh and clean I'm looking forward to our next stay very much found a gem 💎 in shanklin

Stayed here for the Isle of Wight festival, and the location is perfect for the Festival.Bus close by. The hosts were amazing and extremely attentive. I didn't test the boundaries, but I believe that no matter what I asked of them, they would have provided with a smile on their face. Breakfasts were amazing, too. Good choice, all well made, tasty, and well presented.

There is nothing negative to say. I had a small electrical problem in my room on a Sunday, which I reported. I went to the beach for a couple of hours, and they had an electrician out fixing it already by the time I returned.
