Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast.

We had a great experience at The Green Dragon in Market Lavington and will certainly be returning. It is exactly what a great village pub should be—welcoming, lively, and offering exceptional value for money. The food was absolutely delicious and hit the spot perfectly. Beyond the great menu, what really made our visit stand out was the incredible service. The staff here are an absolute credit to the pub—a massive thank you to Debbie, Freya, Ben, and Zoe, who were all super helpful, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. It’s also a wonderful spot if you have a dog. Finding places that genuinely welcome four-legged family members rather than just tolerating them can be rare, but they were brilliant with ours. Our dog got on well with Arnie the pub dog. We also loved the enterprise and the fantastic energy of the place—there is a great setup here and a wonderful atmosphere overall. If you are looking for a proper pub with great food, fair prices, and a team that genuinely cares about their guests, I can't recommend The Green Dragon enough!

Great breakfast cooked fresh with local ingredients. Pub food also v good

Wet room in bathroom.

The breakfast was not good value for money the sausage and scrambled egg was bad and the toast was the cheapest present you could find also the noise from the car park

Excellent breakfast, comfortable breakfast room. Good cafetiere coffee and juice also supplied. With the choice available the breakfast would also suite a vegetarian. Quick service.

Would have preferred the the choice of a double bed.
