Beautiful building beautiful area amazing staff

Location comfortable bed staff were friendly good breakfast

The room needs updating looks tired and the shower in the bathroom was very poor

Location as son had a driving test and the test centre is 3 minutes away.

We stayed in Room 6 upstairs. The kitchen is below this room, so at meal service times, the noise from the exhaust fans can be quite loud. When meals are over, though and fans off, it's quiet and peaceful. We did not face the road. Everything was immaculately clean. We were very comfortable in a spacious room. The double bed mattress provided a good night's sleep. The ensuite was teeny-tiny and a bit difficult to manoeuvre in but it was ok. Lots of hot water for the shower, good water pressure and easy to adjust. Good cooked breakfast. Free parking. We ate dinner in the pub dining room and this was excellent and good value. Staff were all lovely, obliging and helpful.

It's an old building with heaps of character, so of course, some parts need a bit more love. Overall, we were happy with what was provided.

We had a lovely stay pub was great so was the food and beers staff so friendly room was great would definitely return breakfast excellent value for money 💰

Beautiful old building, serving top class food,staff very pleasant and helpful, location good for everyone, bus outside, and within reach of all the local attractions for anybody driving. Add to that a beautiful pint of beer. !

Traditional Pub with good food.

Kitchen extractor fan was extremely loud in our room (no 6) and we were told it would go off at 9pm but went on until after 9:30.

Food, Staff & hospitality, all very good.
