This is a charming boutique hotel which just happened to be super-convenient location-wise for the Cycle to the Sun race event. Right next to the bike shop that organized the event and close to the start line. It also has access to a beautiful beach and is smack in the middle of Paia town with plenty of food and shopping options.

Paia Inn was a perfect spot to stay. It was centrally located for all the places we visited. Honestly, my mornings were the best because of the nespresso bar! Hotels rarely have good coffee- that was a huge bonus.
We loved this property. Itโs right on the water (huge sea turtles came to visit) and right in the middle of town. Very kind and accommodating staff. Simple, clean rooms. Bummed that the restaurant and bar were closed, would have been nice to know before. But, there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
The Paia Inn was super cute and the staff was amazingly friendly and helpful! We wish that we had more time in this area to stay at the Paia Inn!!
