College Guest House

La dueña es bastante agradable y te ayuda con consejos sobre dónde dejar el coche, dónde cenar y eso. Tienen un salón con nevera por si quieres dejar tus cosas y se puede desayunar allí (hay microondas, tazas y cubiertos). Nosotros lo hicimos así. Muy silencioso, a pesar de estar todas las habitaciones ocupadas.

Es un poco antiguo, aunque también eso le da su punto retro. Pasamos un poco de apuro al llegar porque la puerta estaba cerrada y no había nadie que nos abriera. Había un cartel diciendo que llamases por teléfono a un número pero no teníamos cobertura y era imposible. Después de un rato salió la señora porque nos oyó hablar, pero me parece un sistema un poco malo para el que llega (dentro del horario que ellos tienen establecido para el check in)

The room was fine, a little small but ok for our purposes. Had a fridge and a kettle which was useful. Shower was hot and had good pressure. Location is easy walking to town, just be aware that is it uphill on the walk back!

As per other reviews the property is a little dated and would benefit from a bit of tlc eg the lamp in our room was broken and the pillows were very thin (we used 2/3 each). Pauline mentioned that she is running the Guest House on her own so things like the bed being made each day just didn't happen, again not a massive issue but.

Lovely comfy beds. Very clean and quiet. Host was friendly and easy to contact. Fridge in the room was a bonus.

Haverfordwest doesn't have much to offer in the town and I was a bit concerned about keeping the car in public car park. However we had no problems, parking only £2.50 for 24hrs & we could see the car from the room.

I knew there wasn’t a lift and to think of it I should of asked for lower floor as I struggled with the stairs and we was top floor which was also very hot up there!

Room was clean and well presented. Shower drain was very slow draining which meant very short showers to avoid overflow. Common room was convenient but could do with a thorough clean and better facilities to wash up with.

Charming Georgian Townhouse in great location with super friendly host and ample parking close by.Spotlessly clean, lovely big double room with large sash window.Close to local restaurants and shops, cost just £5 for a taxi to a fabulous place for dinner the other side of town as we all fancied a few drinks.Pet friendly and didn’t charge any extra costs for our dogs which rare these days so great value for money
