Felt very welcome in this family run hotel. Rooms were in great condition and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. The hosts were very welcoming and we would definitely stay away

The owners of Varley House were so lovely. I’d never stayed in a B and B before but they have made me want to always stay in a B and B. So friendly and so accommodating!

"A genuinely warm welcome and a very comfortable place to stay."

Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice available and top quality ingredients. A perfect start to the day.

There was nothing that we didn't like. The hotel was extremely convenient for the ferry to Lundy, and our host had some excellent tips about the town of Ilfracombe.
