Schuster Mansion Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast was wonderful. We were given four items to choose from, each option was better than the one before. We were also given a choice of time between 7:00 and 10:00. We learned the difference between high tea, and low tea. If you wanted to take a step back in time, Schuster Mansion is where you want to stay. Rick and Laura Sue were wonderful hosts, easy to talk to, and very informative. Lots of outlets to charge your phones, watches and cameras.

Leaving this blank on purpose when it comes to what we did not like. The next time we visit Milwaukee, we will stay here again.

The owners are very sweet, dynamic, and very devoted to the home.

Beautiful victorian home, the owners go a long way to create a comfortable yet formal atmosphere. When you arrive as part of the check in process you go though a bit of an orientation about parking, getting in and out after hours and lastly choosing your breakfast and time to eat. We had 4 options. Then you are given a tour of the house before being shown to your room. We stayed in the Pias Suite. We were being checked in with another couple and the process took about 20 min. Laura Sue and Rick are very nice. Breakfast was delicious and ready when we requested. We had the Ham frittata and French toast with Pralines. Coffee was good. If you ever want to know anything about Tea Laura Sue is your person. They have a gift shop where we bought a mug and a selection of their high quality teas.

Like others have mentioned, the location is a bit sketchy but we had no issues during our stay. Parking is onsite and off the street

Home was nice

Location. Not a very nice neighborhood. Not safe to walk. Had to Uber when we went out and coming home. Rough area.

Lovely hosts and beautiful home with old charm throughout and delicious breakfast served when you want it! They let you select the breakfast when you check in and the time you want to eat. Very nice touch. The home is truly beautiful inside and out with a luxury feel and fine finishes (the wood floor in our room was very intricate and you could definitely tell it was costly in it's day). Everything about the home was lovely. The neighborhood, not so much, it's very run down and the home just across the street is boarded up. Very loud neighbors, talking loud and yelling most the day, loud music, and cars. It definitely took away from the luxury feel, although DEFINITELY not the fault of the hosts! We ran the air conditioner / fan at night to override the noise and had no issues sleeping. We parked our car in their driveway lot and had no issues there either. Beware, extra fees when booked on here... I'd book direct next time!
