We had a lovely overnighter here en-route to North Shields to catch the Ansterdam ferry. The room was clean and comfortable and iur evening meal was delicious. We had the soufflé and scallops to start followed by loin of venison and the mushroom and garlic pasta. Couldn't fault any of it. A good hearty breakfast followed in the morning and a lovely chat with one of the owners.
