Earlston House

Lovely room with plenty of space and a sea view, free on street parking, great breakfast, short stroll to sea front.

Good breakfast

Excellent warm hosts, lovely room, spacious and clean. Made to feel welcome though out the stay. Breakfast was excellent in bot h taste and amount. Would and WILL definitely stay again.

Nothing really

Great host very friendly and accommodating. There wasn’t anything too much trouble. The location is superb.

The two single beds were pushed together therefore a topper or memory foam mattress would make it more comfortable.

Breakfast was really nice ,a good choice of small medium or large full English or pancakes, berries and maple syrup. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with a good selection of hot drinks and soft drinks. Mij and Aidan were brilliant hosts. Aiden was very knowledgeable on the local area. Bar was not overpriced , beer garden was lovely with a hot tub and an outside bar.

Nothing could have been better

As soon as we arrived we had a warm welcome from Aidan. We were shown to our room (Aidan even took our case up for us!) which was an Agatha Christie themed room. There was plenty of tea and coffee supplies in the room and a small fridge on each landing /hallway containing fresh milk for us to use. The bed was extremely comfy, the room was clean. They even left out a little bed for the dog which was a lovely touch. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked great at the back of the garden. The real champion though was the breakfast! It was honestly the most incredible full English I’ve had anywhere! You can tell they use quality butcher meat. Communication was great from Aidan and Mij. Aidan was helpful to suggest places for us to go. Location is great. A short walk from the beach and to town. If we ever head back down that way we will be sure to stay here again.

Great people, very helpful and friendly! Parking is a little difficult and locals are not helpful as regards to parking. Dogs owners welcome and accommodated.

Parking was the only difficulty!

Location was perfect, a lovely spot with easy walking distance to Goodrington and Paignton sea front. Breakfast was superb, pancakes were delicious. The sausages and bacon were very high quality. The bar was very handy for a drink on an evening after we’ve been out all day enjoying the sites. Mij and Aidan were also very attentive and helpful in suggesting places to visit, especially dog friendly beaches.

There was nothing to dislike, the break away at Earlston house was perfect for us.

Clean and comfy rooms. Delicious breakfast every day. Very friendly hosts with helpful information on the area. Quiet road close to a beach. Hot tub and plenty of parking.
