Bowman Lodge

The location was excellent a short walk into Chester. No breakfast provided but great food available in Hooke a five minute walk away.

The room was a great size but a little tired needed a spruce up as was somewhat dated and the towels were past their sell by dates.

Location was good bus every 15 minutes into town room was clean and tidy very pleased with size of room no breakfast but Hungry Horse across the road catered for that instead very happy with everything.

There was nothing we were unhappy with.

The owner was very kind. It was quiet despite being situated on a busy road. The bed was very comfortable.

上記のように、スタッフとロケーション、チェックイン以外の点数は低いです。 スタッフは呼び出しですぐにチェックインを始め、レストランなどの情報もちゃんと教えてくれました。 ロケーションも中心地から若干離れていますが、観光客の多い便利な郊外でした。

ベッデイング、特にシーツ類のクリーニングが不十分なのか、かなり匂い、ベッドも古く、寝心地は良くなかったです。 建物はかなり古く、動くと音がし、水回りもあまり清潔ではなかったです。 上記の割にはかなり良い宿代で、お得感は低いです。

To be honest i found this not so bad. Yes it's old decor and in dire need of some tlc but for the price (if ave £60 a night or less) its worth it. Not worth more than that though. Its central to a good selection of shops and eat outs. I was contracting in the area so was a handy base. The owner Mike is fantastic. Incredibly helpful and always on hand if need anything. There is a small fridge and a microwave in a commin room lounge which i found helpful as i like proper milk with my tea and coffee. Dont get that in most local hotels. Comparing to local hotels, of which the standards in the area are absolutely shocking, i actually found here fairly comfortable. Would i stay here again contracting, yes.

Easy parking on bus route.

A continental breakfast would of been appreciated
