Great size room and bed perfect views, very clean. Breakfast amazing. Staff so friendly and welcoming and helpful. Like home from home.

Really friendly staff and locals in the bar. Food excellent value for money. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order.

No shower, just a bath and hand held spray in our room, but I understand there are plans to update it with a shower.

Great value for money, landlady and staff were friendly and helpful. Food and room were both very good at these prices. Cask beer was kept well and the bar was lively. Will stay again when in the area.

The room we had was very nice & good value. Also the food there was great.

Some facilities not easily accessable if you had a disability.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good, we thoroughly enjoyed that. Dog owners ate in a different area which was a good idea. The bedroom was large and well stocked with tea and coffee.

The decor in both the pub and the bedroom was very outdated and shabby looking. Although there was a four poster bed the mattress was thick but didn't have much support, we didn't sleep too well. The price charged was more for location as anything else.

Meals at the Black Bull were good. Room was comfortable. Location was convenient.

Better choice of Malt Whiskies could be on offer.

Breakfast was good quality and plentiful and delicious. We ate in the pub the night before and enjoyed our meals and they were freshly cooked and reasonably priced. There was nothing we needed in our stay that we didn’t have
