I like the food in this hotel was so brilliant the drink also and the all the staff and animation team was so friendly we come back again

Beautiful, relaxing experience. Attentive staff. Small issue with our room was quickly corrected and without fuss. Shared transfer from Enfida airport took around 45minutes and we were efficiently welcomed into the hotel and given our wristband to start enjoying the facilities straight away. Main pool area overlooks the private beach across the road. Second pool at the back/front of the property is of approximately equal size and has activities and entertainment each day. We found the place clean and staff hardworking. Pool towels are free to use and operate on a token system from reception- return your towel for your token and your token to reception to avoid being charged. Room safe again free to use with key from reception but pay 70TND for a non returned/lost key. Lunch and dinner buffet times still have the traditional white tablecloths on each table which have been cut out of most UK venues (I expect to save laundering costs etc) and they immediately elevated the experience. We noticed that rooms overlooking the neighbouring hotel could suffer the noise of their lateish loud music but it didn’t impinge on our sleep. We didn’t suffer huge queues or lack of sun beds or anything. Meal buffets had plenty of variety and we loved the amount of different fresh grilled/stewed vegetables, seeds at breakfast, fresh omelettes and grilled fish/meat stations. Don’t expect your traditional English foods though there were fries available. On arrival at the pool area a helpful gentleman brought sun beds and mattresses to place where we chose. A few folks have commented on a smell of sewage - we did notice this in the resort on occasion but it isn’t specific to the hotel and was transient. The hotel was easy enough to navigate and though much bigger than I was expecting, it did not feel too vast or lonely when moving around in the evenings. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Considering suggested improvements: The gym is an abandoned looking room up an unlit staircase with worn equipment and a small panel hanging off the wall that looks like it may once have been air conditioning. Also, depending what time you go, you may ‘run the gauntlet’ of the thalasso team downstairs. The staircase wrapped around the main lift is quite dimly lit and the edges of the stairs can be difficult to depict as they are all of a similar beige marble finish. Those with food allergies may find mealtimes more tricky - for instance a sign saying ‘stuffed peppers’ gave no more information as to what it was stuffed with. There were basic foodstuffs available too though.

I have just finished 8 days in the Mehari hotel I wouldn’t say this was a 5* hotel Food is the same at lunch and at dinner with no variety what so ever. No labels / dietary labels on anything. Food is cooked in a lot of oil that looks like it hasn’t been changed. Coffee machine is not good quality with no milk options then the standard milk. Hotel room is spacious with limited plug sockets. The towels are poor quality ! But rooms are cleared everyday, to a basic standard. Limited entertainment in the evening with no entertainment in the day time! Snack bar ! Is not a snack bar not food between lunch and dinner ! Beach is opposite hotel and is kept clean. Soft drinks served. Overall this hotel is not a 5* and wouldn’t waste money coming back to it.

Restaurant food bas been excellent and staff has been super friendly. Early breakfast at 6am provided in restaurant before opening was a nice touch before an early trip. Bedding, towel and room is clean. Cleaners are very helpful Improvement: * More signage on facilities in the hotel * A hotel map at reception * Swimming pool swallow side that is sloping down on entry is slippery for many people especially for elderly. I have seen a few incidents which should be avoided.

Having been to Tunisia 4 times this year, we find this hotel of a very poor standard. This is definitely NOT 5*. The food is very limited and definitely not what we would expect for the hotel rating. Internet is poor and certainly not accessible in your room, even though we have a booster outside our door. The indoor pool is closed in the summer, so if you want to have a break from the sun but still swim, you can't. Animation is VERY poor. They can't even stay in sync for a basic dance. The fire show, I could have trained a 10yr old to do. A La Carte has only 3 choices of meal and every one includes seafood. Be very careful if you are allergic to seafood, because they are using the same utensils for meat and fish. We have been to other 5* hotels and this definitely isn't up to standard. We absolutely love Tunisia, but would not return to this hotel because there is better.
