ibis Styles Port Macquarie

It’s feeling a little tired door to bathroom had a big gap and was worn out on the bottom. Desk area looked old. Couldn’t get the sound to go up on the tv. Parking was tight.

Location, nice distance to the shops. Staff were friendly. Toiletries were nice and plentiful. Good quality. The bed was comfortable. Great coffee shops close by, the view is amazing, nice walks along the foreshore.

Upgraded to an ocean view room, which was nice. Except it is located on the corner of two streets, so woken at 5am by traffic noise, even with windows closed. Our room was tired and a bit grubby. Thick dust on the skirting boards, grout was dark grey and black in place with dirt, needed a good scrub (you could see areas with white grout so it is obvious it’s just not being cleaned properly) . Build up of calcification and dirt on the floor in the corners of the bathroom where it hadn’t been cleaned properly, soap scum visible on the bottom of shower screen, with a dirt build up in the corner of the shower screen and door. When l gave it a clean (as you do), there was somebody else’s hair in the corner of the shower. The room needed a good clean and coat of paint.

Location, view, quiet, comfortable bed. Large tv, pool, spa bath.

Clean rooms

WiFi was woeful - 1mb/s if lucky and they charge you if you want better internet! We paid $20 per person for breakfast and it was a bit of a joke - a small room with not much on offer. No eggs or cooked food of any kind.

Bed was comfortable and the shower was hot.

The room was small and poky. The balcony was tiny. There were only 2 pillows on the king bed and 2 cushions. There was only 1 chair inside. The internet/TV reception was terrible and kept dropping out. The bedlamp was useless for reading.

Position, position and position. Bathroom was updated clean with great showers and products

Verhandah were small and cramped. Hotel was “tired” and needs updating and redecorating. Hallways felt dark and dingy with old carpet and needed painting.
