Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas

I recently called the hotel to inquire about my upcoming trip, and I had the pleasure of speaking with Cocoa. Her warm and friendly attitude truly made my day! She gave such helpful and thoughtful recommendations that I couldn’t resist confirming my stay right away. It’s my first time visiting Phuket, and thanks to Cocoa kind assistance, I already feel so welcomed and excited. If the check-in experience is anything like the phone call, I’m sure it will be unforgettable. Can’t wait to meet the amazing team in person soon!

This is one of the best hotel I have ever had. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights for our anniversary and we loved it. The lagoon pool villa was a large size, spacious and luxurious. The service from the staff is incredible. Special thanks to Coco, Baifern, Wendy, Or (Front office team) and New (Bellman). They are very helpful and mindful. Also, the F&B team, housekeeping team and spa team were really amazing. Everything was perfect here. We will definitely come back here again.

Beautiful villas, amazing staff and excellent restaurants. All round exceptional holiday which also includes your dedicated butler who is there to ensure you have everything you need. The gym facilities are great as are the tennis courts and beach area and pool. Loved everything about this resort and the Anantara team.

Everything is good, lovely people, good facilities. The breakfast has multiple choices and kids love it very much. We will be back again. Fern Ploy is very nice to us, we meet her every morning at breakfast, she provides fantastic service during the time.

We stayed at the Anantara Mai Khao for 8 nights in the Sala Pool Villa. The villa was spacious, very private and overlooked a beautiful, tranquil lagoon. We could simply sit in our villa's sala and look at the lagoon and its inhabitants (turtles, huge monitor lizards, colorful fish) for hours. We pre-booked three dining experiences, incl. in-villa barbecue, omakase experience at The Tree House and seafood bucket at Claws & Co. We were super happy with the food (and service) quality and even regretted not booking the second omakase dinner. Luckily, we found the time to visit Claws & Co. for the second time :-) Unfortunately, some of the restaurants were closed for renovation during our stay. We were taken care of by Sunny and this was also a great experience. Sunny was ready to help, available and responsive, always smiling. Simply... Sunny :-) Overall, the service culture of this place is at a very high level. All in all, an ideal place for those who want to relax in a luxurious yet peaceful and quiet place surrounded by nature.

We had a great stay. Team went out of the way for us. Poy and Toy particularly excelled on that front. Accommodation we had was clean, modern and spacious. Great gym and kids club (staff were excellent with our 5 & 3yr old). We did upgrade the villa on arrival which was a seamless process too. Occupancy picked up over our 5d stay but it was noticeable the level of service did not drop. Hotel food was good and the recommendation on activities and restaurants outside were also great. Am usually a tough reviewer but hard to flat this trip. Hotel is being renovated in part (there are newer resorts that we’ve stayed at but they don’t come close to value on offer here). Would recommend this hotel for families or couples. If you want a balanced review I thought there could have been an extra towel rail in the bathroom. TY for having us.

We spent four nights at this resort with our twin 17-month old girls. Sonny and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating; everyone was so lovely and friendly. We had two cots for the girls, two high chairs in the restaurants, and an amazing private villa and pool. The girls loved swimming, enjoyed the food in the restaurants and were fascinated by all the friendly people. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back when the girls are older and we can do more exploring.
