Great Quiet location, large room and bathroom with walk in shower with all amenities and balcony with lovely views. Fab dinners and breakfast. Large car park. Friendly and helpful staff. Best place to stay in Devon.

Beautiful location in the middle of a delightful village. Views from room balcony superb. Food very good and all home cooked. Breakfast was exceptional. Room was very good size with all amenities . Very Very dog friendly.

"A pleasant stay - has the prospect for higher praise with a few details attended to!"

* There was no armchair in the room - being a ‘superior room’, that was an unforgivable omission. * The bathroom towel rail heating did not work. * The shower cubicle requires a safety grab rail. * The window curtain needs hanging properly. * The bathroom door mechanism needs reaffixing to the door. * A desk was not of the correct height. * The complimentary Harrogate water bottles have tops which are utterly impossible to open without recourse to heating them first under a hot tap. * Thursday breakfast service was much better than Wednesday’s. * The staff were all friendly and courteous.
