The Mariners - Torquay

Our host were very helpful and friendly. The room was not very spacious but was enough and very clean. The weather was extremely hot and only thing which was missing in the room was a fan. There was a tiny fridge but couldn't fit a bottle of water and in my opinion could work better. Overall don't regret staying in The Mariners and would stay again. Highly recommend 👌.

Lack of fan in the room (when is hot I believe it will help a lot), and no extractor in the bathroom. Also a chair in the room would be great, but there was something to seat on it, like a stool.

The hosts had only just taken over this guest house , but they couldn't have done anymore to make us feel welcome, the bedroom was clean , warm and very comfortable , decor was modern, breakfast was lovely

We stayed at this B&B for two nights and had a truly wonderful experience. On the first night, the owners went out of their way to make special arrangements so we could stay, showing exceptional kindness and flexibility, especially impressive as new owners. Throughout our visit, they were consistently warm, polite, and incredibly helpful. The room itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, including a small fridge and quality shower and hand wash supplies. The location was also ideal, within easy walking distance of shops, food outlets, and the beach. Overall, a comfortable, welcoming stay that exceeded expectations

My son and I had such a lovely stay at The Mariners in Torquay. The location couldn’t have been better — everything from the station to the marina was just a short walk away. Dave, our host, was absolutely brilliant. He looked after us so well, gave us really useful tips on what to see and do, and made sure we felt at home throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully decorated, always spotless, and smelt fresh every day. I’m so glad we chose this B&B and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Torquay.
