Very clean, basic room with a few frills. Good view of the garden/park. Only seemed to be one member of staff, and he was extremley busy!!, especially at breakfast, which was excellent. He appeared to be on reception, offered to carry luggage, and was also taking orders, cooking and serving breakfast. Phew!!!!, He was a star.

Lack of lift. We were on the second floor!!!!

Great location for a weekend break. Room is spacious and well-appointed. The little touches like free water and cake are very welcome. Host is gracious and welcoming. Breakfast is excellent. This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed there, and recommend to anyone visiting Folkestone.
