Trafalgar House

The breakfast was top class.The rooms were absolutly immaculate.

Brilliant accommodation, everywhere was immaculate . Breakfast couldn’t have been better and so tasty. Parking was so convenient

A very calm and beautiful environment, faultless attention to detail, high quality breakfast ingredients: delicious homemade jam, wonderful eggs and tea. Neil is a very thoughtful host. I was given a room upgrade and even a tea upgrade for my room! The location was perfect because it was both central enough and quiet. The garden really enhanced the spaces even though it was too wet to sit out in.

I liked everything - the only improvement I can think of would be adding veggie bacon to the cooked vegetarian breakfast and/or putting something like eggs florentine on the menu. Really though this is quibbling because I so enjoyed the breakfasts.

Neil was the perfect host. He made us really welcome. The breakfast was really good. We were upgraded to a Superior room, which was lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bedroom had fresh water, drinks and cookies replenished each day. All in all a superb place to stay.

The only downside was that it was a little far out of the town, but Neil explained a quicker route, which was easier and we used the 62 bus to go to Cockington and back (a circular route)and the Number 12 bus to Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. We also had a steak at Mr Cook just down the road which was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and would certainly recommend Trafalgar House.

The property is old and perfectly maintained. The location is great, 10 minutes away from the seafront. The room was very clean, breakfast was delicious and there are a lot of options for all tastes. Neil was very thoughtful and helpful and we will absolutely come back if we are back in Torquay!
