Fire alarm went off at 5am, and we had to stand outside with other guests for 30 minutes or so to wait for manager to arrive & switch it off. Lots of apologies afterwards!
GBThe location of The County Hotel is ideal for exploring Hexham. Although the hotel is on a fairly busy road, our room was very quiet, comfortable and immaculately clean. The hotel doesn’t have a car park but we had no difficulty parking in a car park nearby. All of the staff we met were very welcoming and helpful. We didn’t have dinner on this occasion but the menu looked great. We enjoyed a wonderful freshly cooked breakfast. It set us up perfectly for our journey home. We would happily stay again.
