The staff was really great

This isn’t “really” a family friendly experience. We stayed here as we had older relatives with an RV in the park. Everything about this hotel and surrounding area is designed and organized for the 55+ crowd. That’s all well and good - but if you want to visit loved ones wintering here, find another spot in town that’s more conducive to your family’s needs. And if you’re looking for that 55+ experience, prepare yourself for a hotel of similar vintage. Older appliances, outdated layouts, loud A/C units, and fairly uncomfortable beds/bedding. Overall just a “meh” stay.

Out of town and safe and relaxing

Upon our arrival at the property, we were faced with a water shutdown, which was a significant inconvenience. What was more disappointing was the lack of consideration for our comfort, as we were not even asked if we still wanted to stay. Despite this, the property managed to have water available on Saturday and Sunday, leaving us without basic amenities on Friday and Monday.

The hotel room was spare, but clean and comfortable. It was quiet. The setting was nice. Only complaint is lack of wifi service in the room. We had connectivity in the hotel lobby but neither our laptops nor phones had service on the room itself.

The staff were utterly helpful and friendly from beginning to end! Check-in was extremely easy and the hotel was easy to access. However, the property is geared to older adults and not children. Children are welcomed, but they have to wear a badge if they want to go around on the property. There’s a market and grill, a pool area, tennis courts, and other entertainment. Our room was decent, except for our bathroom door. It didn’t close properly. Overall, we had a good experience!

Very fun place.

Great beds, safe and peaceful location. Only issue was that their Wi-Fi wasn't working whatsoever and that put me in several awkward positions when I needed to work or connect with family. Fix the Wi-Fi issue and it would be 10/10
