Villa Medusa

The first day we arrived very late due to delay, and we informed Nikos which was kind enough to wait for us. The next day we woke up with an amazing view of the villages and the sea. We then went quickly in the pool -and gt a little tan. The villa is close to the old hersonissos village which has amazing restaurants!! Villa Medusa is very clean, everyday the bed was made, floor was cleaned, towels. It has a fridge for your food and water,(even ice) The showers are clean and new and nice and warm water. The beds sleep amazing, which is perfect after a long day exploring Crete. Nikos(the owner) is very very nice, superfriendly and makes a chat with you and everyone everyday. Which makes it a very special stay in villa medusa.. We will come back for sure. Jurrian & Nicole(Chile)

Bij aankomst bin het appartement vond onze "gastheer" het niet nodig om zijn telefoon gesprek te beiindigen en liet ons een kleine 10 minuten wachten alvorens ons te woord te staan...... Na 3 dagen kwam hij naar ons toe en zei (niet vroeg) dat we van kamer moesten wisselen .Ik gaf aan even iets te moeten doen en dan zou ik naar hem toe komen om hierover te praten. Toen dit vervolgens naar zijn zin niet snel genoeg ging trok hij mijn reisgenote aan haar bovenarm mee richting receptie en brieste daar dat we de volgende dag naar een andere kamer moesten. In ons nieuwe appartement werden we binnen enkele uren verrast met stroom uitval die pas na 5 uur verholpen was, ook in dit appartement waren de matrassen super hard en ook hadden we hier niets meer om ons wasgoed op te hangen. Na meer als 30 jaar Griekenland/Kreta ervaring was dit de meest negatieve ervaring ooit!!! De gastheer lijkt klantvriendelijk maar schijn bedriegt! Wij zullen het in ieder geval zeker niemand aanbevelen......

I can highly recommend this place. It is quiet and you get time to rest. The owner, Nikos is one of a kind! He really want you to enjoy your staying. Villa Medusa is near to restaurants in the old town. You have to experience the food and the atmosphere there. I recommend to hire a car, cause it is to far to walk down to the beach.

Abbiamo soggiornato a villa Medusa alla fine di luglio, 12 giorni indimenticabili. Ambiente famigliare, tranquillo e ben curato. Personale cordiale e attento ad ogni esigenza. Camere pulite e riordinate ogni giorno, come in hotel, con la possibilità di cucinare perché provviste di angolo cottura e confortevole veranda per pranzare o cenare all aperto. A disposizione dei clienti anche una graziosa piscina con lettini e ombrelloni. Insomma, non manca proprio nulla. Grazie Nicos!

We stayed at Villa Medusa last week and it was amazing value overall! Really close to the beach but still in a quiet area, great view of the sea, and a nice pool to cool off. The owner Nikos was so helpful and he even let us stay for the day after finding out our flight wasn't until the evening. Highly recommend this hotel!
