Location of the property was perfect for Croft race track Was modern

When we arrived at the property was not cleaned. If we had arrived any later we would have had to find alternative accommodation. The owner was good enough to arrange for the place to be cleaned but it got our stay off to a bad start. Bed in main bedroom needs new mattress bad dip in the middle

Apartment was adequate for 4 adults but it would have been uncomfortable for the 9 that it is advertised as being suitable for. Location was good for access to town and free parking was readily available nearby.

Had to ring for the access codes on the morning of our departure despite having sent the requested ID the day before. Entrance to the property was overgrown and untidy, communal stairway had not been cleaned as it had litter in several places on the stairs, towel had some unknown sticky substance still on it, as had one of the double bed sheets. Mattress on another double bed was so bowed in middle it was impossible for two people to sleep on it. No toiletries in bathrooms even although they are mentioned in description.

Location, access, off street parking

Dust in every corner. Damp smell from the main bathroom. Hair on the hairdryer. Random tissue. Bedding smelled of cigarettes and perfume! The mattress in the main bedroom has a worn dip in the middle- impossible to sleep on. The overgrown vegetation at the entrance needs trimming. Overall, the place has a great potential but let down by the basic deep clean. Poor wifi and no bulbs was an inconvenience.

The beds are comfy and the apartments are easy to access and arrive at. Convenient location to walk into town.

The wifi which is in the upstairs apartments is the same for downstairs and therefore the signal is not very strong and kept cutting out. You would not be able to work from this apartment. It would be great if each individual apartment has its own wifi.

Modern, lots of space and rooms. We were only two people staying there but had 3 queen sized beds and two bathrooms to pick from. It’s an old nursing home that’s been turned into flats and it’s a nice place to stay for a few days.

It wouldn’t surprise me if we were the first people to stay there as the finishing touches on the flat looked very rushed I.e. there were painting marks on the floors, no lightbulbs in any of the lamps apart from ceiling ones, the iron and ironing board were still wrapped, and so on. The Wi-Fi code was wrong but was quickly fixed by the flat attendant on iMessage. I flagged there were no lightbulbs in any of the lamps which we were promised would be fixed the next day but it wasn’t.

This property ticks all the boxes excellent location very nice in side very comfortable will be staying again when visiting Darlington if the property is available 😀

The kitchen and bathrooms were bigger than expected. It was good for us as we had quite a big family xx

The property wasn’t deep cleaned properly before we had got there. We found pistachio nuts full and eaten in the bottom of a vase. A receipt from the previous visitors Burger King shoved to the back of a shelf on the tv unit. No bulbs in any lamp throughout the whole apartment. A used snotty toilet tissue was found in the bedside table in the double bedroom. We also didn’t have any sort of bedding for the sofa bed duvet.

The atmosphere and apartment was really really comfortable
