Fairlawns Guest House

I only stayed at Fairlawns Guest House for one night, but it left a really good impression. The place has this lovely Victorian style feel — you notice it as soon as you walk in. It’s got character, but it’s also really clean and well-kept, which made me feel comfortable straight away. The hosts were genuinely welcoming. You know when people make you feel like more than just another guest? That’s exactly how it felt. They were friendly without being overbearing, which I really appreciated. On the practical side, the free WiFi worked perfectly (no annoying dropouts), and having car parking on-site was a big bonus. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better: it’s close to both Horton and Foscote Hospitals, and only about a 10-minute walk into Banbury Town if you fancy exploring. Another nice touch is the bus stop right opposite the guest house. The route is reliable, so even if you don’t have a car, getting around is easy. Overall, Fairlawns felt like a mix of charm and convenience. For a short stay, it ticked all the boxes — clean, welcoming, and perfectly placed. I’d happily go back if I needed somewhere in Banbury again.

It's hard to think of anything negative to say.

the location is ideal as it is extremely close to the town centre, restaurants and pubs. the room was warm and comfortable with a tv and tea and coffee and a lovely shower

nothing that i can think of. they even have bike storage facilities which i hope to use when i return in the spring

Great welcome after a difficult journey. Literally was room only after a late arrival, but clean and comfortable room.
