Boars Head Hotel

Room was nice and clean. Traffic noise was very load and kept us awake most of the nights. Nothing they can do about that tho. Request 2 vegetarian breaks for 2 nights stay. Request was not made. Therefore you would think you would get more of the none meat items, which we did not, disappointed with that but overall the breakfast was nice. All the staff was friendly and helpful.

Our stay was only overnight, visiting friends, and the Boars Head was ideal for all our needs. Would certainly use it again.

Wouldnt use again. Rooms were not as booked. Were not ready for our check in ( checked in at 10pm). No toilet seat, and hot water tap didnt work in the sink. Breakfast not available till after 9am, no good to us. Pretty grotty all round tbh.

Great stay at boars head. Fantastic value for money with good cooked breakfast included. Well worth a visit x

Very friendly staff, very clean room, was great to be able to have a few pints before bed whilst chatting with the locals, half hour drive from Warrington so perfect for gigs

Friendly staff, rooms need some TLC , Breakfast good, not enough staff, no information in rooms.

No hot water to WHB. And tv not working correctly. Did not reply to email regarding breakfasts times. In my opinion not very customer friendly. Check in girl very helpful and kind.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent would definitely recommend eating there.but upon arrival there was confusion as it appeared someone had erased my booking from their list but staff were very good and rectified it quickly. However the remote for the television would not work even after requesting new batteries so was unable to change channels or even hear it as the volume would not work. The window would not open and there is no air conditioning so can imagine the room being very stuffy in hotter months and the shower gel and soap were both empty(but i carry my own anyway). I will definitely stay there again mainly because the staff are lovely vut be advised that if you have heavy luggage its quite a trek up the stairs and there is no lift!. BUT WE HAVE TO REMEMBER, this building has been there for many many years and its authenticity gives it its charm.
