The food was another real highlight. The menu was superb, and it was clear that a very talented and creative chef was behind it. The beetroot salad and cheese board were particular standouts, although everything we saw looked beautifully prepared and very tempting.

Breakfast was served in a lovely conservatory and there was a big choice on the menu. We stayed for dinner twice and again the food was well presented and tasty. The swimming pool and gardens were well kept. We were within easy reach of 3 lovely gardens and pretty towns and beaches.

Some parasols beside the sun loungers would be good. It was very hot and sunny during our stay, some shade would have been appreciated.

A stunning hotel. Very comfortable and clean with an old world charm about it. Very relaxing.

We only stayed for one night and couldn’t fault it.
