"Great Location and Host"

9.0

Lovely location for travelling around Cornwall. Host was very friendly. Rooms were great, comfortable bed but have to be careful if you’re tall as lots of sloping ceilings around the hotel. Used the swimming pool which was very nice, great breakfast with lots of choice. Lovely and quiet hotel. Also had a lovely spa treatment on the day of arrival - therapist was lovely, friendly and very good.

Had dinner in the restaurant one night and whilst the food was lovely, service was exceptionally slow. Waited around 45 minutes for food - I understand there were electrical problems in the kitchen, however this was not explained until the food was delivered and each time the waitress walked passed our table, she said “food will be with you in a minute” - would have preferred the truth from the start, so that was a little annoying.

"Under promise. Over deliver."

10.0

Loved everything about Boscundle Manor, it's different in a perfect way. Lovely staff, beautiful setting, warm and cosy. A G+T in the drawing room before dinner was always a great way to enjoy the evenings.....Congratulations to all involved in making this an oasis amongst more conventional styles of accomodation.

Liked everything including the recommendations to local restuarants which 100% turned into perfect evenings.

"very convenient as far as places we wanted to visit. Charming place, nice rooms."

7.0

We had booked an afternoontea but when we arrived were told they had no record of the reserv ation and they didn't have enough scones etc to give us tea. We had one teaspoon between us in the room, which is a minor detail but i drink tea and my husband drinks coffee, so I had to go to the bathroom to wash the spoon every time we made a drink!

"wonderful staff in a beautiful location, and fantastic breakfast!"

8.0

Staff absolutely wonderful - I got a tour of the building and explaination of facilities on check in. The room was compact but had a coffee machine, mini fridge with fresh milk and water, and the bed was very comfortable - I'd actually really like to know what the duvet was so I can get one for at home! Lovely quiet location and a short walk from Charlestown. I was staying on my own for business but I wish I'd been with my husband as this would have been a perfect place for a romantic retreat. The breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel and was a lovely end to the stay.

My only wish was that there would have been dinner - I stayed midweek so no dinner service but as I was on my own I didn't really want to go and eat out and ended up just getting some light bites from the local tesco. As I was in a single room there wasn't a door on the en-suite bathroom which I would have preferred just for comfort. Despite there being a smart TV I couldn't get Netflix working, but I wouldn't have needed any of the above if I wasn't staying alone!

"Warm, cosy, comfortable"

10.0

Beautifully decorated, very comfortable and cosy. Great attention to detail at breakfast in the morning and an extensive breakfast menu to choose from. Enjoyed the pool. Only stayed one night but was superb value for money. Managed to swap out feather pillow due to allergies without prior notice but I should’ve checked with them beforehand to give them notice tbh.
