Tae Washington the assistant manager was the best. He was doing every job and stayed calm and hospitable at all times. I wish more hotels had a Tae. It was the best stay at a hotel we have had.

The room size was great. Ease of access was great.

The tub had hair in it. Had to get new batteries for the remote. Sheets wouldn't stay put on the bed nor the mattress pad. Time for new sheets, mattress pads, and mattresses

Great location. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff -especially Tate. He went above and beyond to make sure needs were met and we were enjoying our stay. He always greeted us with a smile and was so friendly.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel prior to our stay here a couple of days ago. The prior time I made reservations through Choice’s Website as I usually do and requested first floor. Upon arrival the front desk told us if we wanted the first floor there would be an extra $10.00 per night charge. I did talk to the manager and said nothing on the website said anything about this fee. She even looked herself. We did have to pay the fee for two nights. We made reservations again on Choice’s website for this hotel and requested first floor. We were coming for our Son’s Graduation and I recently had lung surgery and needed first floor. Upon arrival the lady at the front desk said you do know there is a $15.00 per night charge for first floor? So, the price went from $10 to $15. Still nothing advertised on website. We really felt like they were taking advantage of us. We refused to pay extra especially after they raised the fee. We were put on the top floor which is the 4th floor almost all the way to the end. I wondered if they were charging the fee to handicapped people as usually handicapped rooms are on the first floor at hotels. If so they should be ashamed. I’m done with this particular hotel because I’ve never been charged a fee for first floor at any other Choice Hotel or any hotel for that matter. We do feel taken advantage of especially when the fee from the prior time went up and as I said none of this is advertised on the website. I will say our room was clean. The hotel is a little dated. We did not eat breakfast there we just had coffee. We frequent this area due to family living in the area. I don’t like surprises. When I make a reservation and it gives me a price that is what I’m expecting to pay when I arrive. If you want to charge a fee then advertise it.
