The Cherry Tree Inn

Food at this pub is excellent. The rooms are very peaceful and clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming, I would stay here again. Highly recommend this place.

We were looking forward to lunch with family and friends but Food mediocre at best, very expensive and poor service - not good value for money - will not come back. Doesn’t compare with the excellent White Hart at nearby Nettlebed.

On 1st January we visited the Cherry Tree. After a long and beautiful walk through stunning countryside. We and a party of our closest friends plus dogs spent a fantastic time at the Cherry Tree where we ate delicious food well beautifully presented and drank wine cocktails and beers and socialised with the most charming locals. No matter how exhausted Dan and Nat and the staff, must’ve been after New Year’s Eve. They never showed it constant smiles. Nothing too much trouble. The perfect hosts. They even went to the trouble of providing us with the most delicious Malay inspired fish soup before retiring with two happy dogs to our accommodation, which was perfect, beautifully decorated clean and a gorgeous bathroom with high pressure, shower and bath. We couldn’t have asked for more . In the morning, there was breakfast in front of a roaring fire. We recommend without reservation the Cherry Tree, five star. Our first visit to The Cherry Tree and it was fabulous! Staff were all friendly and helpful. Pub itself was quaint and comfortable and there was an open fire which added to the cosy feel. The food though is what made it - I had the calves liver and it was beautifully presented and tasted divine; I was pleased they could adapt to be gluten free. The sticky toffee pudding (also GF) was so good that I said yum after each mouthful and will go back just for that!

Visited for Sunday lunch and it was excellent!! Good choice of roasts including a lamb shoulder or pork knuckle between 2. This comes with an aray of vegetables all individually served in bowls that you serve yourself. Good to see a number of non roast dishes including fish options for those that wouldn’t choose a roast. The restaurant is comfortable and tables well spaced great as dog friendly! We will be back

Dan and Nat, the proprietors, are the perfect hosts. This wonderful country gastro pub and boutique hotel is a gem. Our Sunday lunch was superb and the service was top notch. There are lovely gardens outside, with a rabbits' enclosure and a decommissioned tractor for the children too!

A small gathering of family and friends to celebrate my 60th. Dan,Natalie and their staff were great. They gave us our own private area to really looked after us. We had a Sunday lunch and the food was epic in both quantity and quantity! We all left totally full and totally satisfied. Thanks guys, you even fixed it so England won the rugby!!

Host was very friendly & helpful. Stay was very comfortable, food was of a high standard.

The Cherry tree inn is in a Quiet village the room was clean and everyone was very nice to us we would stay here again if we were in the area
