"Noisy elevator ruins this property."

I was awakened by the elevator at 4 am and couldn't get back to sleep. VERY LOUD mechanical noise for hours. I asked for a refund/extra night stay down the hall but they said the manager would have to make a decision on the compensation. So, they could have charged me for it. I left.

"Worst hotel, not even a motel, I've ever stayed! Disaster!!"

The hotel is located in nice and convenient location near two plazas with supermarket and food. The hotel management and house keeping doesn't exist at all. The Indian resptionists, manager and house keeping are worst I have ever seen in my 40 years traveling. The rooms are not cleaned, bed sheets were not changed over 3 weeks we had to stay there, tables not cleaned, beds not cleaned. One night we came back and noticed the cleaner had slept on our bed and left her cleaning stuff when in rush to leave. We complained and they said after 5pm they have no staff. Don't stay here, absolute mess and garbage and waste on money. Breakfast is garbage too. Will never go back there. Pls don't go unless the management is changed.

We enjoyed the quiet room. The staff was very helpful and answered any questions we had. We had a city Pass for Toronto upon arrival were a little worried about how far it was, there is easy access to the 401,407,and 405, which made the trip into Toronto easier. Newmarket has everything you might need, restaurants, fast foods, Walmart. The only complaint we would have is that breakfast was never hot ( beans,eggs,sausage)

Room was beautifully renovated. Bed was very comfortable. Most importantly everywhere was CLEAN. Cambodian restaurant next door was a delightful treat as they met my dietary restrictions. Great FIND.,

No coffee in lobby. Washroom on main floor closed. Dirt on couch. No tv remote. No AC in the suite livingroom. No bag for laundry. TV channel selection very limited. Unacceptable for Marriott and price.
