What an amazing, well located hotel, especially if you are driving and don't want to brave the city centre. I booked only one night here as a stopping off point as a Diamond Elite and I paid with my points. The receptionist Sophie was so welcoming, friendly and professional, in fact it was one of the most delightful check-in's I've had in any IHG hotel. The hotel is located at the Westside mall just outside of the hotel is a tram (25+ mins to the city) and they run regular or the railway line (6+ mins into the city) both could be used with the free transport card provided by the hotel giving us access to all public transport in and around Bern. This is something really valuable! The room wasn't upgraded as such but was on a high floor which was appreciated. It was clean, functional and breakfast as well as drinks vouchers were given. As a Diamond Elite member we were also given free access to Bern Aqua located in the same building. It was a really relaxing few hours in their outdoor pool (and not so relaxing slides) but this is quite a significant cost saving and something we really enjoyed. We were also able to go into Bern and enjoy the City Centre very relaxed knowing that the car was parked securely under the hotel and at a reasonable cost. Breakfast the next morning was okay, it had several options, but greater care could be taken replacing things and perhaps a wider choice of items would be welcomed. Regardless of this, we really enjoyed our stay. It is the perfect stop off point when connecting between different parts of Switzerland, it all was without hassle and we were treated really well and wouldn't hesitate to come back and stay again.

Sur le site Booking c'est marqué parking, juste oublié de dire que pour une nuit c'est 19 frs. Et le personnel de l'hôtel qui ne parle pas Français pour une chaîne comme Holiday inn ce n'est pas normal.
