Het personeel was uitstekend en attent. Het management nam een klacht niet al te serieus.

-er zat een groter insect in ons eten -de kamers waren vies en slecht onderhouden -de spa was ook aan onderhoud toe

Some staff camr across as indifferent, particularlly at the lake pool. There seemed to be mostly large tour groups staying which took over the dining area and bar at night. However, they were out all day so the pool and hotel area was empty during the day so we made the most of the peace and quiet

We had a fantastic stay, including an upgrade. The hotel is a peaceful haven and our villa was extremely comfortable and clean. We didn't have time to use the spa but it looked lovely. The swimming pool overlooking nature and the lake was a particular favourite feature of ours. Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. It was a delight staying here and we'll absolutely return

The room was very spacious. It was a short walk away from the main facilities, but there were golf buggies available if necessary for things like luggage, and a short cut through the villas. The food selection was very good and there were two excellent swimming pools. The staff were so helpful and it is simply a lovely venue. Very convenient for Dambulla and Sigiriya.

Beautiful big suites in lovely grounds

Food was very mediocre, poor quality. The thing that I could not cope with was the aggression of the monkeys. You never relaxed for one minute they were everywhere they stole food from us even though we thought we were being as diligent as possible but nothing is more diligent than those monkeys. But it was the aggression they showed there was one really, really frightened me and I would not stay again under those circumstances and I also would find it very difficult to recommend my friends to stay when basically you cannot relax for a second. It is such a shame.

This is such a peaceful place . Beautifully designed and despite being quite old it is very well maintained. As others have described, it is a beautifully estate with lots of district walk and relax. It was our ‘posh ‘ stay on our two week touring trip and it did not disappoint. We would happily return for longer . We chose to stay around here in the day and it’s so beautifully quiet as most guests are on tours . The prices are good and you don’t feel like you are being ripped off like other places . All the staff are delightful. Birdlife is also great. First class 😃
