Hotel Royal Prisco

Beautiful view and good location. Excellent breakfast and clean room. Staff spoke English. The hotel is uphill from the port and it was quite difficult to carry luggage uphill with stairs. Please advise guests in advance for a porter. AC was very low hotel staff was kind enough to provide a fan but unfortunately not comfortable to sleep in a hot room.

the room view was fantastic and that is where the experience stops! The room, bed and balcony were ant infested. We complained to the front desk explained that the ants were between the walls and they came out of the electrical sockets we even had ants in our luggage - for the amounts of money we spent we were completely disappointed - I stayed up from 2am until morning very disruptive, very disappointed that this was not taken care of I did not get any sleep at all

Clean property with friendly service staff. Good location too. However, the hotel is quite old in general and the airconditioning doesn’t work so well.

It’s hard to put into words how lovely this was from start to finish! The room and view were amazing. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, I was in heaven! Bathroom large and shower suitable. Little dark in the bathroom for those who put make up on in there but ample light in the room and plenty of mirrors. Lots of great mirrors! Balcony overlooked the street to watch the hustle and bustle go by. View of the city and sea were instructed by the mountains but still beautiful will a taste of everything. The location was perfect! Not too far up the hill and not too low by the beach. Delicious places to eat next door and so much shopping. It was recommended to try the local masseuse in town, Augustino. OMG! It was amazing. He has a gift!!! Don’t miss out on this and his prices are reasonable for an in room one hour at 80 euro. Wish I had more time and could have it again. The breakfast was plentiful. There was something for everyone and the woman handling it was sweet and kind. Great staff all around. Beach bag and towels in the room. They’ve thought of everything. Absolutely magical stay and I will be counting the days until I can go back! ❤️

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located in Positano. To be fair, the pictures online do not do the hotel justice. Our room was much, much nicer and bigger than the pictures led on. Staff we were friendly and helpful. We arrived earlier than the allotted check-in time, no problem. They stored our bags and showed us how to get around town and the beaches. Upon returning, our bags were already in our room. Perfect Positano views right from the room/hotel entrance.

We loved the staff (Maria) and it was a fresh, clean, luxurious hotel in a great location. Very impressed.

Amazing

This property is in a beautiful and central location. The staff were there for you and could arrange tours, transfers and even portering of your bags to the dock. We had a beautiful terrace off our room where you could see a great view of Positano and the sea. The included breakfast was outstanding and the best I ever had while on the road. I highly recommend this property and will definitely book here again when I come back to Italy.

This is a perfect location, just up the hill from the main area of Positano. You can walk to all the restaurants overlooking the water or to the shops in the main area. There is a lovely balcony with a ceramic table and chairs that overlooks the town and the sea. This hotel is very reasonably priced for its location in the town. There is a full breakfast included, but we were not able to enjoy it as we had an early morning flight out of Naples, but the host at the front desk brought us freshly baked croissants and juice take with us. If coming by ferry from Sorrento, wait for a little truck that will pick up your luggage and take it to the local hotels; his way you will not need to pull your suitcases up many stairs to get to the top road where the hotel is. There is no elevator in the hotel, but the front desk staff are very helpful. There is also no bar fridge so you can't keep your wine or limoncello cold.
