The hotel it's self was ok, the food was also ok.Really disappointed with booking.com for how you portrait this hotel on you're website compared to reality of what it's acutely like.i had booked x2 nights there but cancelled my 2nd night as it was so rubbish. My advise to anyone thinking of booking this hotel don't!

The hotel location (including the drive to the hotel) was auful! Disgusting rubbish everywhere, through an industrial estate!! The pool area is photographed in a way that makes you think it's beautiful......it's not! I have attached some photos for anyone to see how bad it is. Lastly the beach is horrendous. Litter everywhere washed up from the nearby docks and locals leaving rubbish(witnessed).

The staff at the resort were great, the rooms well presented, and the food options were great. We really enjoyed the cocktail bar, the buffet breakfast and dinner options were great balancing a mix of local and international food, great options for children too

This hotel is really not in Colombo, so it was about a 30 min tuktuk ride in. And at the time of staying, April the sea was not accessible. The photos are clearly of the hotel new and whilst the place was nice, the communal areas looked a little jaded. The restaurant however was immaculate. We used this hotel as a quick stop to adjust after arriving and a base to get to pinewalla which it was perfect for.
