Hotel La Bisaccia

The hotel looks like a traditional Italian villa which makes it feel incredibly cosy. It creates a wonderful symbiosis with the surrounding nature which is amazing. The view is spectacular - probably the only time when getting a room with a sea view was actually worth it as we were spending part of the morning drinking coffee there and in the evenings wine. The staff was incredible - friendly, always well dressed, always smiling, just made us feel good all the time. Also the hotel guests are great - you won't find shouty, young, new-money spoiled brats in this place. Most of the clientele are Germans who are just enjoying their retirement and despite us being a couple fo 30+ year olds we love this group the most. Baja Sardinia overal is a very silent and attractive place to be in - if you're looking for a place to just relax and chill this is the hotel for you. Every evening a guy was playing on the piano and singing next to the pool for an hour, which also just added to the romantic setup. A bonus was a couple of Verner Panton's famous modernist chairs just being there next to the breakfast terrace. As a designer I was positively surprised by that, although I wasn't compltely convinced their look was a good fit for the overal very retro/traditional Italian style of the hotel.

In the beginning the toilet cover was I think broken (they fixed it after 2 days), some of the bulbs didn't work in the bathroom, the rooms have phisical keys (so if you're used to just get your card to turn off the lights in your room this will require some adjustment but it also ads to the rustical vibe on the other hand), after it rained part of our balcony was wet for the whole day, the water in the pool was cold and salty (probably sea water - but it was a bummer since I was looking to swim in the pool often) and the car park is way too small for the number of rooms - we literally only parked once in the actual parking lot, all the other 8 days we were parking our little rented Fiat 500 on the street by the hotel since there was nowhere else to leave it sadly.

Clean, comfortable, great location, great breakfasts, great sunbeds at pool, efficient and friendly staff.

TOP-Lage mit Privatstrand

Locație îngrijită cu atenție la detalii. Camera a fost foarte spațioasă. Micul dejun variat pentru toate gusturile.

Großartige Lage mit kleinen privaten Buchten, tolles Frühstück, Zimmer mit Meerblick war einzigartig. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, kommen gerne wieder

We got back from Hotel La Bisaccia, Sardinia just over a week ago, three couples for a ten day holiday B&B. Our rooms were an uphill walk from the hotel and then up eight wide steps and then eighteen steep steps without a handrail and then a long pathway to our rooms. They were modern rooms but the view was a dirt track and grass, the balcony never got any sun. As my husband and I have mobility issues we asked to be moved three times without success, the hotel was always fully booked! We did see other people struggling too. We booked direct with the hotel and there was no mention of accessibility. The cooked breakfast was was always cold, scrambled eggs, bacon etc. the chef cooked fried eggs one at a time so there was always a queue. The coffee was too strong and only warm. One evening we stayed in the hotel for dinner, five of us had roast beef which was really tough and mostly inedible. The pool bar was very expensive, also the toilet was down fourteen steps so difficult to access. The toilet in reception was down steps as well.
