Hotel Sempachersee

Excellent location for visiting someone at the clinic next door. Very spacious room and the balcony was cute.

There was a constant noise of a ventilator/ heater or something like that, I couldn’t find the cause

Lovely room and very cosy on a very cold winters night

The staff were not very welcoming and we felt like we were being an inconvenience at check in. Very confusing to find the parking in such a big complex.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen war hervorragend. Bein Apero an der Bar haben die Nüsse gefehlt. Frühstück war sehr ausgewogen.

Large, modern convention center, with parking and restaurants (although main restaurant being refurbished in December 2024). In building 2 we had a large, clean and functional room, although with a look a bit “passé”. Complimentary coffee and water was at our disposal. Breakfast buffet in the main building was served until 0930 and was abundant and good.

The property is composed of several independent buildings and one has to walk in the open to go from building 2 where our room was to the main reception and restaurant. I believe there would be a way to go through the underground parking if the weather was too rough.

Alles gut gerne wieder.

Very warm rooms, and I did not manage to reduce the heating enough.

Breakfast was ok

The place is massive and it’s a route march to your room via multiple lifts on different levels and we did get lost. It’s like a maze. It’s also like staying on a hospital ward or medical training centre.
