Golden Star Beach Hotel

The location was great right on the beach with a restaurant overlooking pool and beach. Our room was huge and beds comfortable with balcony overlooking pool.

The food wasn’t good, we only ordered pizza so maybe other items good. The pool seemed a bit murky water. The towel on floor in bathroom dirty. One bed had no cover sheet only a blanket.

The staff was very cooperative and pleasant. The service overall was 100% worth the money we paid. The hotel was very peaceful. Ample parking space. Many good restaurant in the neighbourhood at walking distance. The family room for 5 was very spaceous and clean. Beds were extremely comfortable.

Its good if the beach could be maintained better. There was dog poo in several places on the bach just at the entrance to the beach from the hotel premises. Its better if the dining area can be covered with glass to prevent the flies and be air conditioned. It felt a bit filthy to see the flies. (The hotel had kindly taken care to cover the food with lunch sheets to prevent flies touching it). Better if the pool was more private. Those who are dining watch the swimmers which is not too comfortable. Nice if some cozy music can be played in the backgroud. Can improve the cleanliness of the washroom.

Atrium the time the manager told us he would reimburse us for the nights we didn't stay but this did not materialise.

They overcharged us for 3 nights and didn't refund.

It is more likely to be taken seriously by hotel management.

Although we went in an offseason time and the staff was less but they were very hospitable and cooperative. The stay was very good.

The beach, pool and room were all to our satisfaction. location of the hotel was excellent.

The hotel needed some upkeep as it seemed a bit run down.
