Sugar Sands Beachfront Hotel, a By The Sea Resort

Loved easy access to the beach. Staff was very friendly. It was quieter location

Wasn't a hotter like showed in the pictures

Kitchen had bare supplies to actually use for cooking.

Helpful staff. They try hard to work with what they have.

Dirty old room. Needs many repairs. Ceiling drips water over bed. Insulation falling out bottom of bathroom door. Baseboards pulling away from walls.

Easy beach access.

Hard to park, run down old buildings, walls moved when you touch them, beds felt like they were caving in the middle, never swept our room for 4 days. No new bedding or even made beds, ants on the walls in bedroom and bathroom. Holes in the walls. We wouldn't have stayed except booking.com took our money out on May 28th instead of waiting until we got there. We are very upset. We will not go back there.

Room was bad. Bathroom unclean. Visible mildew above shower. Bathroom door missing chunk out of corner. Bathroom vent caked in dust and dirt. Water did not get hot. Windows were dirty. Outside patio area unkempt and cracking. Outside of hotel dirty with noticeable badly done patch jobs. Floors sticky. Pool area dirty and littered with debris. Parking lot terribly small and in bad shape. Back door of room did not lock with key card, only dead bolt, which pretty much made the walk out beachfront access useless.
