We are from Waukesha and had an event downtown. My husband and I decided to stay overnight and have a stay cation in our own town. We had always wondered what the Clarke hotel was like. We were very impressed. Very cozy boutique hotel with big rooms, comfy bed, big bathroom, and a great shower. I would definitely have my guests stay here.

Great hotel…only upgrade needed are thicker windows to keep street noise out, especially due to the college nightlife.

The Clarke is right in the middle of the town if Waukesha in the restaurant, arts and bar district, by the pleasant river walk. We loved the large room and view of the street and trees. The restaurants, the public art in the area is cool. There are murals and guitar sculptures all in the music theme centered in Les Paul. It's a fun place to visit.

Very comfortable place in Waukesha. Waukesha itself is kind of halfway there in terms of dining and entertainment. Find a good family fish fry just about 8 miles south out of town.

I love the quietness and the doable was well appointed. It was almost like going back in time! Good vibe!

Good location. Stayed a weekend - came in Friday night and checked out Sunday morning. We didn’t see any staff except when checking out. Knowing what to do to check in and where to park was confusing and frustrating. They only staff their front desk until 6pm so no one is there to help and you have to call the phone number.
