Residence Inn by Marriott Abilene

Below average hotel, poor choice for breakfast and no water in room. Room bedding was also poor quality and not Marriott standard.

We are here visited family in the area. The front desk staff were all wonderful and polite. If you ever wondered how the Flintstones slept on a rock bed, this is it! 3 nights here and NEVER a room refresh or clean towels. I went to the front desk and was assured they come ever other day, but they did not. There is mold on the tiles in the bathtub, rusted shower curtain rod and broken tiles in the bathroom. Oh, and the blow dryer!! I HAVE NO WORDS! Although they did find a new one. I am almost certain the floors were not vacuumed (dryer sheet and twist tie that surely couldn't be missed), not to mention the animal hair on the sofa. Breakfast was basic but ok. This place needs a serious refresh, paint and could definitely be cleaned better. We even shared the bathroom with a friendly roach like critter one night too! We will stay elsewhere on our next trip.

Wonderful room and great service! Very clean! All staff very accommodating and friendly. Nice place to relax. Boys enjoyed playing basketball.

They don’t clean the rooms daily and when they clean the room they don’t make the bed and change the sheets. The facility is very old, reception will charge you parking fees automatically even if you don’t have vehicle!!! Make sure you check your credit card statement after you checkout from this place. DONT GO it’s super overpriced!!!!

Everything was fresh and clean. The bed was comfortable, the hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Easy to get to and from the main parts of town. Perfect location.

The couch and a Huge stain on it. The blanket in the closet had satins on it. The ice did not work in the fridge. The mattress was the worst. I reported this to the front desk and got a oh well. We will not be staying at the Residence Inn.
