La Quinta by Wyndham Port Lavaca

I like that it was easy. Check in my room, which was not assigned to me when I arrived, had a small wait time. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice.

We used the pool, 2 boys in pool no parents and they kept bothering all the guests. They asked for food and they played rough and we had a 4yr old with us. The room 104 the shower was either hot or hotter no cold water. Not the worst but will never return to this hotel.

The hotel was cozy and served its purpose, a safe and relatively cheap place to stay. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, both check-out and check-in were smooth and fast. The gym is reasonably stocked in equipment for a visiting traveler who may want to stay on their routine, but obviously not as extravagant as an actual gym. The amenities provided were more than sufficient in my opinion. My only complaint is that the rooms were a bit humid and honestly felt moist on the floors/carpet, and sometimes even the bed sheets as you lied down for the day. Not all the time, but enough for it to be a concern in regard to a smell that might linger on your clothes (socks on your feet as you step on the carpet for example).

Rooms are clean and comfortable... and the 3 women at the front desk are nice and polite...

Upon check-in, we are told checkout is at 12 p.m., and breakfast ends at 10 am. we came down at 9:24 a.m., and there was no food, even basic things like milk or cereal... other than that, it was good...

It’s an ok price and they have a free breakfast.

You had to slam the door to make sure it was closed shut, otherwise it would slowly open back up. There was a turd in the pool.

The LaQuinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham Port Lavaca does a great job of taking care of me when I stay there while working with the U.S. Census Bureau. I express my needs and they accommodate. I love the hot breakfast (especially the gravy) and the front desk, kitchen, housekeeping and maintenance personnel are awesome!

Great parking and breakfast

Check out was at 11 and kept getting bugged by staff if I was leaving or not 3 times 3 different people and tv remote wasn’t working and called front desk for a replacement and nobody came so I just fixed it myself

From the persons at the front desk to the cleaning staff and the person cleaning and fill the breakfast, they were so polite, friendly and made us feel welcomed.
