CABINN Express Hotel

The only reason I stay there is that my friends live nearby My main complaint is that the heating was bad and didn't work in the dining room In fact it was blowing a terrible draft I simply could not stay in that room The staff charming but INCAPABLE of understanding situation and taking action. It was an awful experience

While the room is very small compared to American standards, it was well equipped. We ended up spending a lot of time in the room, and found it to be comfortable overall. Staff were courteous and extremely helpful. Location was perfect for us. Within walking distance to the Metro station, grocery store, bakery, coffee shop(s), other shopping. Very convenient to walk to downtown Copenhagen to see the sights, etc.

Cabinn express is what it is, it’s a relatively cheap hotel in a expensive city. The rooms are clean and compact we had 2 adults and 1 child in ours which at times was fun when your all trying to get ready but by day 2 we had a rotation system in place so we could all get ready to go out without literally bumping into each other. Apart from the room being quite warm even this time of year we had no complaints, location was great right next to the metro it was clean in a great area and the breakfast was good too. We stayed for 3 nights which was probably enough only because the size of the room and no other reason.

Room smaller then expected. Clealiness OK. Second day of stay someone tried to open suitcase zipper by piercing with a sharp object,but fortunately no valuable missing. Complained to management, they said will investigate. Otherwise location was good for a 3 day stay

Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. It is in a great location, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the room itself is very cozy.

The room was clean, compact and minimal. The bathroom was a bit of a shock - the shower is nearly over the toilet. It is exactly like a ship's cabin so go with that expectation. The breakfast was just cereal, toast, etc. The location is good - we walked into central Copenhagen every day (about 15-30 mins). For what it is it was very expensive, but I believe that is just Copenhagen!

Hotel is in a very convenient position, close to the metro and if you are feeling energetic, not far from the city centre. Ok the rooms are slightly smaller than other hotels but for the money it is very good value.

I had a pretty bad stay. At first I was given a room on the ground floor. The room was derelict – with old, cheap furnishings, dirty marks on the walls, dead bugs, smelly water coming out of the tap, and an old bed. It was right next to the car park, which is left open all night. During the night at around 3am some people knocked on my window and woke me up, laughing and running around outside. I didn’t get a good sleep at all. So the next morning I asked to change rooms, and was given one on a higher floor. This second room had a much nicer décor (albeit still cheap), and was much cleaner. However the shower curtain stank of urine and the room was very poorly lit. The next morning the power went out whilst I was having a shower. The shower didn’t have a proper shower head either – it was tiny and sprayed water in every direction except down. It’s a long walk to the main part of Copenhagen, especially the main canal. I’ve stayed in one star places that were much nicer than this. I do not recommend this hotel.

Hotel has no a/c and it was a very hot day, could not open the window, very bad night . Room & bathroom was very small for even just a couple!
