"It was pleasant"

Breakfast was great. Coffee available early and to-go cups to take back to room. The bananas Foster French toast was marvelous. Serve was quick.

Room was cozy and colonial in flavor but small. Only one chair, one stand for luggage, and no writing table.

"Step back in time to where our four father’s vacationed!"

I truly felt like I was in president Lincoln’s personal space! So beautiful! The morning breakfast was beautiful amongst people from different backgrounds with some connection historical to the land. How our lives somehow intertwined or dissected in the same areas on different time lines! A comforting experience in the presence of great host and hostess! Exquisite breakfast accommodations as well with the stay! I loved it and we will be back! I can’t give all the details because you need to see this place!

There was nothing I didn’t like about the accommodations! The rooms were spacious and even though located off a main road, rooms were completely silent!!!

"Ok but not worth the price"

Close to downtown. Interesting decor. Served wine in afternoon.

No protein choices at breakfast on Friday... not everyone likes carbs and sweets. Wine in living room was nice but something savory like cheese straws or pretzels would be preferable to the munchies or snacks left for guests. . Mini fridge or access to fridge would be useful as well as a coffee station in the west wing or rooms rather than having to get dressed and go outside for coffee first thing in morning. Luggage racks and water bottles in the room should be provided.

Beautiful setting and a great location close to the Colonial center. Clean, tidy and we had a quiet tranquil start to the day. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts absolutely lovely. A+

The owners are welcoming, the property is gorgeous, the room/bathroom very comfortable and clean, breakfast was excellent and plentiful, the location was excellent : close to everything “important”, and in the center of America’s History ! Perfect !

That my stay was way too too short 😭
