Villa Narmada

The rooms are meant for self catering hence you have a dining room and kitchenette for you. The fact that almost every wall comes with a big window makes the room bright and enjoyable.

Probably because of covid, the structure is in need of refurbishing and renovation as it’s a bit old. Inexpensive details could also be bettered (new table cloths, bed linens, kitchen utensils).

The concerns I raised could have been handled better. Pics in booking .com are outdated. I was charged 40 euros for a taxi from airport to villa Narmada - a taxi I had not booked. I stayed in room A10 from Tue 12/11/24 to Thu 21/11/24. Safety concerns in the room - TV wire was cut and joined with blue tape and the wires in the plug were melted. Bedframe was moving/fitted loose in the headboard, mattress not aligning,, and had to ask for linen to be changed. I requested change of room but receptionist said its fully booked, but another staff told me otherwise. After just 2 nights I decided to leave. Ramesh the night staff was really helpful and he persuaded me to stay. On Saturday 16/11/24 the receptionist provided with a pack of 6 bottles of water and "apologies for the inconvenience caused". I was then offered a rear facing room on the 2nd floor which I declined. I was reminded more than once that I have to vacate room by 12:00 on Thursday 21/11.24. There were other not so positives which I won't even bother mentioning.

The staff could not be more helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.

Some of the unit could do with a little renovation work.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Ruth and the night guy. Very nice pool and a quiet location. Very convenient for the super U, mall and local restaurants. They upgraded us from a studio to a one bed which was really nice, with a small terrace by the pool.

Everything was fine but maybe there could be a little more things in the kitchen, just sharp knives and some plastic mixing bowls etc

The location is great - walking distance to the shops and food court and only a short drive to the beach and to the restaurants in the area.

The screaming children!! We felt as though we were in a primary school boarding house. Even after complaining to management, the noise did not stop. There is construction happening next door to the Villa which contributed to more noise. The “continental breakfast” was very underwhelming.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Well setup room and kitchen with all necessary things.
