Geejam

The Geejam is located in a beautiful spot. The rooms are incredible, the beach is perfect and the food is incredible.

We only wish that the staff lived up to the expectations. The receptionists are just not good. Very unhelpful, and have no willingness to even try. From asking for towels for the beach to organising a trip to Rio Grande - everything seemed like a hassle. Same goes for the staff of the restaurant. Although the food is very good, be prepared for: at least 1 hour waiting time every time you order, multiple mishaps and misunderstandings resulting in the wrong order arriving (or not arriving). Finally be careful with the final bill. After leaving I was reached out to by one of the receptionists to say that my bill did not include a bill for one of the dinners and so they decided (before confirming with me) to charge my card. The bill was already paid for and it was an error of the waitress, which the receptionists did not verify. Although the hotel is great, be prepared for some tough encounters with the staff that in a LOT of cases seems like they just don’t care. A note to the management: being charged after settling the bill, without permission is against any hotel booking policies. I hope you can give your staff the appropriate training so future customers don’t have to go through that.

Everything! The setting of this hotel was so beautiful. The staff were amazing and so accommodating even prior to our check in. We had difficulty in getting transportation from our bus terminal to the hotel and when I explained this, they organised everything and were able to add it to our bill. Food and cocktails were great, rooms were so comfortable and well decorated. There was plenty to do within the hotel even when it was raining, we could have spent all our time in the hotel! Private beach area with water sports and a great guide once you take the steps down!

Lots of stairs, cottage was a lot smaller than pics, bathroom very small.

The owner and management were kind enough to upgrade us to a private villa. Our stay was outstanding and private exactly what we were hoping for and more.

My stay was excellent! Truly a 5 star hotel. Great rooms, wonderful amenities, beautiful views, amazing food and services!!

This place is a jewel for nature lovers. The peace and excellent service is everywhere. The staff and owners were above and beyond to make our stay an unforgettable experience. The exquisite cuisine was the top of the cake. Best lobster ever!! Steve has been an amazing host. Looking to repeat our visit to this private paradise in Jamaica.

Loved the hotel and the workers

Staff was very professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. My room was awesome and the view was breathtaking. Definitely will return.

The atmosphere was so relaxing. Friendly staff and good food. I love the views from my cottage and the steamer was a great touch.
